The Pillars of our Practice

Ethical Care & Objective Medical Necessity

Ethical care starts with individualized clinical decision-making. All treatment plans and care hours at Excel ABA are determined solely by objective assessment and true medical necessity—ensuring every learner receives the exact right level of support needed to make meaningful, real-life progress.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

Chasing excellence requires an unwavering commitment to a culture of belonging. At Excel ABA, we intentionally foster an environment where diversity is celebrated and inclusion is woven into everything we do—from client care to staff events. We are dedicated to providing culturally responsive, individualized care that respects and honors the unique backgrounds and values of the families we serve while ensuring an equitable, supportive workplace where our team members can truly thrive.

Small Caseloads & High Clinical Integrity

We refuse to let skills sit stagnant. Our BCBAs maintain intentionally small caseloads so they can stay deeply involved in daily sessions, perform rapid data analysis, and make agile teaching modifications the moment progress stalls.

Our Story

Founded in 2013 by Luna Hernandez, BCBA, and Eddie Hernandez, MBA, Excel ABA was created to meet the growing need for high-quality, compassionate ABA services in Madison County and the surrounding communities. From day one, our organization has been built on a strong foundation of core guiding principles, captured by our overarching philosophy: "Chasing Excellence in Every Child's Journey."
